Holiday Celebrations at RES Success
Our holiday season was one to remember at RES Success!
Last month we celebrated at every program, and we had a fabulous time! We enjoyed our favorite holiday meals — from pancakes to pizzas — along with plenty of holiday snacks, movies, music, decorations, games, crafts, and more!
But this year, we also added a new and meaningful tradition to our holiday festivities.
Recognizing that many of the people we support are not able to enjoy the holidays with their families, we wanted to ensure that everyone felt special and appreciated. To do this, our direct support professionals (DSPs) took on the thoughtful task of choosing and wrapping a personal gift for each person we serve — a gift specially chosen to match their tastes and interests.
This was no small undertaking, but the generous support from our community of caring friends and family made it possible. By their incredible donations, they partnered with us to provide a unique and heartfelt gift for every individual, along with the special meals and activities of the holidays.
The result was an exciting, joyful experience for each individual, emphasizing how special each person is to us and our community.
Thank you to everyone who gave to make this experience possible. And thank you to our dedicated DSPs and other staff who put so much effort and thoughtfulness into making the holidays bright and joyful at RES Success.
