April Community Trips at RES Success

Every month our programs take trips into our community and around the Bay Area. We volunteer to serve others; learn about history, science and art; visit stores and attractions; and meet up with our friends!

Last month, our trips included…

  • the employee appreciation lunch at Vitas Healthcare where two of the people we serve were being honored for their contributions

  • the Police Safety Expo at Diablo Valley College where we especially enjoyed meeting the working horses from the East Bay Regional Park District

  • the Benicia Capital State Historic Park where we learned about California history

  • and having fun with friends in Walnut Creek, where we created fun bracelets and met up with Ian Bremner, the founder and executive director of RES Success!

These are just a few of the places that we visited in April. Our programs take trips nearly every day to help the people we support connect with and enjoy their communities.
