Hercules Program Hits the Road in a Shiny New Van

This week we bought a new passenger van for our Hercules program. This new Ford Transit will help the people we serve come to the day program and explore and connect with their communities.

It will make it easier for the program to take trips to parks, museums, shopping, and anywhere that the Hercules participants want to go. And the larger vehicle will help them travel in comfort with plenty of elbow space for everyone!

Future Ford of Concord helped us find the perfect van for us, and Johanna Galvan and Diyanna Mason — our program manager and assistant manager for Hercules — picked it up on Tuesday along with Ian Bremner, our executive director. On Wednesday, participants enjoyed seeing it for the first time and taking a quick test ride around the parking lot.

Everyone’s looking forward to the great adventures to come with the new passenger van!
