Our Amazing Employees of the Month

At RES Success we have an employee-of-the-month program to recognize and celebrate some of our terrific instructors. Our winners are chosen by their coworkers as great examples of service and dedication within their programs. Each month one of our staff receives a certificate and a prize in recognition of their fantastic contributions to RES Success!

We’re excited to introduce you to our employees of the month for March, April, and May!

Demetra Pedescleaux
in Pleasant Hill

was our employee of the month for March!

Demetra’s coworkers said:

  • “Demetra has continuously stepped up when help is needed and goes up and beyond when supporting our clients.”

  • “She is always willing to jump in and help. She provides amazing care and support for her clients. She NEVER does the bare minimum and always puts her best foot forward. She is truly an amazing person and RES is lucky to have her.”

  • “I witnessed Demetra consistently go above and beyond with supporting not only her students but all students. She is always the first to volunteer to take over classes or offer support when needed if a coworker cannot. Demetra is reliable and always provides quality work. She has been complimented by residential care teams and families on more than a few occasions. She continues to be a model staff member for other coworkers to learn from and be motivated by.”

Thank you, Demetra!

Noemi “Mimi” Ruiz in Pittsburg

was our employee of the month for April!

Mimi's coworkers said:

  • “Noemi has gone above and beyond over the past six months. She has assisted where needed without being asked, covering tasks and other job duties for the team. Mimi has volunteered on numerous occasions to help where help is needed.”

  • “Mimi has really come out of her shell and has been actively involved in all aspects of the day program with students and staff. She has been a great asset to our team over this past year.”

  • “Noemi has improved so much since we came back from working from home. She has independently volunteered herself to take on needed tasks. She engages with students very well and attends to their needs.”

  • “Over the past couple of months, I have seen such growth in her. I have noticed her willingness to be helpful, creative, and social. She has displayed comfortability in her position. Whenever management or staff ask for her assistance, she never hesitates. Whenever she is unsure of anything, she asks questions. I'm very pleased with her growth and improvement.”

Thank you, Mimi!

Jewel Smith in Pittsburg

was our employee of the month for May!

Jewel’s coworkers said:

  • “Jewel is always cheering and encouraging all participants and celebrates every accomplishment they have.”

  • “Jewel is always very energetic and always comes to work with a positive attitude. Jewel goes above and beyond for our clients. Jewel is also very patient when it comes to overwhelming situations at work.”

  • “Jewel is ALWAYS cheering for every person we support. She genuinely gets excited whenever they reach a goal or succeed in something. Also, she recently made a "get well” basket that she paid for and delivered to one of our participants who will be out for a month due to a knee problem.”

We are sad to say that Jewel left our RES team in June to pursue other opportunities. But we are so grateful for the years she spent supporting our participants in Pittsburg and for her encouragement to all of us.

Thank you, Jewel!

We’re so grateful for Demetra, Mimi, and Jewel, and for all our great teammates who bring caring and kindness to our programs every day.
