About Our Programs
Each of our programs creates a welcoming, encouraging environment where the people we support can grow in independence, develop critical skills, and pursue the goals and interests that matter most to them.
As a person-centered agency, the details of our programs change from location to location and from year to year, as we meet the people we support where they are and pursue their interests. However, each of our programs always share the following:
Every person
is different.
We believe that all our services should center around the individual and what matters most to them. We work with each participant, their families, and their support network to develop an individual service plan that addresses key areas of development, including:
Education
Community Integration
Social Skills
Expressive Arts
Healthy Living Skills
Volunteer and Employment Skills
Cognitive Behavioral Self-Management
Every person belongs.
We believe that every person should be able to be part of their community in the way that they choose. We work to make sure each individual has ample opportunities to make the connections that they desire, including:
Participating socially within the programs through games, activities, and celebrations.
Participating in their communities as volunteers, customers, and neighbors.
Exploring nature, art, history, health, science, and other subjects of interest in our area.
