Community Inclusion and Independence
A core belief at RES SUCCESS is that our students deserve a beautiful and safe environment in which to learn and grow. We’ve provided that with our sites in Martinez and Pleasant Hill, California, that provide a continuum of support for our clients' unique needs. Each program site is tailored to the degree of ability or need of the individual. Our current total service capacity is 95 people per day, and our waiting list hovers around 70. We are pleased to be developing a new facility in Martinez to expand our capacity to serve profoundly developmentally disabled adults.

RES SUCCESS Day-Treatment Program Locations.

490 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill: This beautiful, newly renovated 3,400-square-foot facility is designed for students with milder disabilities. Students work on their reading, writing and math, and enjoy the computer learning lab, art instruction, or the audio-visual room. Because Diablo Valley College (DVC) is just a short walk away, plans are underway to partner with the college to offer classes both at RES SUCCESS and on the college campus. Pleasant Hill

801 Ferry Street, Martinez: Located on the corner of Ferry and Ward Streets in downtown Martinez, this stately brick building houses another of the RES SUCCESS day-treatment programs. This center accommodates 30 students and is tailored more to serve severely-challenged individuals. Here, students participate in a multitude of learning and activities that promote self-expression, such as: arts and crafts, music and dance.

620 Las Juntas, Martinez: This facility is geared to serve students with higher cognitive skills. In addition to educational opportunities offered through the day program, students receive individualized training and can learn relevant job skills to promote independence in the community. Some students have paid jobs, others learn job skills as community volunteers. Las Juntas

730 Las Juntas, Martinez: We are currently planning a new facility that will support 60 clients. An historic building in downtown Martinez will be renovated into a state-of-the-art space specifically designed to meet the needs of clients who are profoundly developmentally disabled, and who, like most of our clients, also struggle with a mental health diagnosis. This building will become our largest program, and will allow us to offer services to about half of the people who have been on our waiting list, many for years.

Please help us bring this important new facility online by making a donation.
